Premium member Presentation Transcript System Usage Day 1 : System Usage Day 1 Date Point to point call : 2 Point to point call Basic functionality: Place a call from one system to another Control the camera (pan/tilt/zoom) using the remote control Press the ‘far end’ button and control the far end camera Turn the microphone on and off Disconnect the call Call a system listed in the ‘directory’ Point to point call : 3 Point to point call Duo VideoTF Place a call to a system Choose one of the inputs (aux, doc cam, vcr, pc) Verify that the system now sends two video streams, showing the main cam on one monitor, and the selected source on the other. Press ’menu’ – ’Presentations’ and set ’Duo Video Mode’ to ’Manual’ Try to start Duo Video now (manualy) Choose a input, and verify the difference. Point to point call : 4 Point to point call PC PresenterTF Connect a PC to the system using the VGA cable Press ‘menu’ – ‘Video Settings’ and make sure PC is set to ‘VGA’ Press ‘pc’ Press ‘selfview’ Point to point call : 5 Point to point call PC SoftPresenterTF Turn on a computer on the network Start ’VNC’ from the Start-menu Enter a password Press ’menu’ – ’Video settings’ and make sure PC is set to ’VNC’ In ’VNC Settings’ enter the IP address of the computer, and the password chosen in VNC Press ’pc’, and experience PC SoftPresenterTF Point to point call : 6 Point to point call DownspeedingTF Place a ISDN call to a system Physically unplug any of the ISDN cables from the system Verify that the conference is not disconnected Unplug all of the ISDN cables but one Press ’menu’ – ’green key’ – ’green key’ to see details on the channel status Point to point call : 7 Point to point call WEB Interface Open a web browser on a PC Enter a IP address for a system in the address bar Make a call from the web interface Disconnect the call from the interface Add a entry in the directory Turn Autoanswer off Send a text message to the system Play around..... Then call another with the first connection still up Use the Quick Keys to request floor Disconnect the whole conference Add two numbers in the directory Add a Multisite entry in the directory containing of the two numbers Call the Multisite from the directory Multipoint call : 9 Multipoint call Duo VideoTF Try Duo Video in a multisite call Verify that all participants receive the Duo Video stream What happens if one of the other sites in the Multisite choose to send Duo Video? Can any of the participants in a Multisite send Duo Video?
