Moving the Camera : 

Moving the Camera The directional arrows will allow you to move the camera The zoom button allows you to zoom in and out on people or objects The “Move PIP” button will move your PIP around the screen, then off.

Audio Functions : 

Audio Functions Volume Adjustment: Press the “VOLUME + and -” keys to adjust volume level (An on-screen indicator will show the current level). Mic On/Off: To turn your microphone on/off during a call, press the “mic off” key. An on screen indicator will appear on both sides when the microphone is off.

Placing Video Calls : 

Placing Video Calls The bottom portion of the remote is the dialing pad. Dial the desired number; Press “Connect”

Quick Keys : 

The “Quick Keys”, coupled with Intelligent call management, are designed to help the user know the next logical step within the current function. i.e. DuoVideo, Add Site, Call Status, Request Floor, Release Floor, Sleep, and Do Not Disturb. Quick Keys

Editing the Directory : 

Editing the Directory While the Directory is showing… Use the green Quick key to add new entries to your directory Use the yellow Quick Key to store last number dialed Use the blue Quick Key to add a multi-site entry to your directory

Snapshot, Self-view, Move PIP Snapshot: sends both locations a still image of the chosen video source Self-view Single monitor: toggles between self-view, remote view, and still image Dual Monitor: Toggles between self-view and still image Move PIP (Picture-In-Picture) toggle a self view picture to all four corners of the primary monitor and then turns it off

Video Sources : 

Video Sources To toggle between video sources, press the buttons corresponding to the video sources labeled on the remote

Far End Camera Operation : 

Far End Camera Operation Far end camera gives you the ability to access the remote camera and video sources Press the far end button Use the camera functions and video source buttons When finished, press the far end button

Storing Presets : 

Storing Presets To set a preset: choose the desired camera position Press “Store” Select a number 0-9

Accessing Presets : 

Accessing Presets Using P1, P2, & P3 P1, P2, & P3 are quick ways to access presets 1,2, & 3. Accessing all 10 Press P Select a number 0-9 When finished; Press P to turn off the presets

Sleep and Do Not Disturb : 

Sleep and Do Not Disturb Sleep is used while off a call to black out the monitors (energy conservation mode) Delay sleep mode is used when you want to show a presentation on your equipment while not on a call Do Not Disturb is used when you are not using video and do not want any incoming calls and can be used to show presentations while not being interrupted All are accessed using the Quick Keys while not on a call

Making MultisiteTF Calls Using the Directory Press “Directory” Highlight name of person you want to call Press “Connect” Manually Press “Connect” Select “Add Site” using the green Quick Key Dial the number Press “Connect” Call will automatically down-speed if needed

MultisiteTF Functions : 

MultisiteTF Functions Continuous Presence: All locations are able to be viewed at once Voice Switch: The location that is speaking is the only location viewed by all participants Request/Release Floor: Any participant is able to be viewed by all locations in full screen and release the floor when finished. Can be used with Continuous Presence or Voice Switch Assign/Release Floor to Site Number: Host of call is able to force another location to request/release the floor

Adding a Telephone Call : 

Adding a Telephone Call Using the directory Press “Directory” Highlight name of person to call (Quality should read “teleph”) Press “Connect” Manually Press “Connect” Select “Add Site” by using green quick key Dial number Select “Quality” by pressing the blue quick key Highlight “Teleph” Press “OK” Press “Connect” Call will automatically down-speed if needed

Receiving Inbound Calls : 

Receiving Inbound Calls When receiving a video or telephone call while already on video your system will ring and your quick keys will show up on the bottom of the screen Green Quick Key is used to “Accept” the call Yellow Quick Key is used to “Reject” the call Blue Quick Key is used to set “Do Not Disturb” to any future incoming calls for the remainder of your current video call

Adding Duo VideoTF : 

Adding Duo VideoTF Automatically “Duo VideoTF Mode” in the Presentations menu should be “Auto” Select Video Source Press “Main Cam” when finished Manually Press “Connect” Select “Add Duo Video” using yellow quick key Select video source listed on the screen Press “Connect” When finished press “Disconnect” and select “Disconnect Duo using yellow quick key Use self view to toggle between the presentation and the local view to allow camera adjustment.

Virtual Network Computing : 

Virtual Network Computing VNC Able to access computers on the network (must have password) Can scroll through a power point without having an end user by using the left and right arrow buttons VNC software is downloaded from http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

Text Chat/Closed Caption : 

Text Chat/Closed Caption Use codec web interface to type text Text is displayed on the local and far end monitors Great tool for the hearing impaired Supported over ISDN and IP, point-to-point
