Furthermore, Polyclinics establishment will help KFSH&RC to reduce overload of congested patient’s in the Out-patient Area who can be seen in the Health. Overview: OBJECTIVES : Enhance the health outreach activities and services between KFSH&RC and referral hospitals in the regions. Improve the means of providing services available of KFSH&RC patients in the regions. Coordinate and follow-up therapeutic plans and protocols. Minimize or decrease waiting time for referral and patients for treatments. OBJECTIVES Polyclinics Requiems : ICIS PACS IBM Main Frame KFSH&RC e-Mail KFSH&RC Intranet KFSH&RC Paging System Print to KFSHRC Printers (No Fax Required) Videoconferencing Polyclinics Requiems Regional Coordinators : Each Region has: Medical Coordinator (1) Administrative Coordinator (2) e-Health Technician (1) Regional Coordinators Project Phases : Phase I — Started on 25 May 2009, with five (5) Regional Centers namely Hail, Qassim, Baha, Madinah and Hofouf wherein one (1) clinic will operate per month per Region Phase II — To be able to add six (6) potential sites by the year end of 2009 and to operate two (2) clinics per month per region. Phase III — 1 clinic per week and subsequently daily clinic per region by the year end 2010. Project Phases Targeted Sites : General Plan is to start with three (5) centers as pilot project then expand to others.
