Suggestions:
Suggestions How often will the Soldier call home? How often will you email each other? How in-depth do you expect the emails to be? Do you expect packages from home? If so, how often? At home, do you expect packages from Iraq? If so, how often? Do you expect written letters?
Other Suggestions:
Other Suggestions For children who cannot read yet, include simple, stick-figure drawings that illustrate the content of the letter. Before you place a call, write down four or five specific things that have happened to talk about. You will be surprised how blank your mind goes when you get on the phone.
