Making Comparisons : 

Making Comparisons Just as you can use más . . . que to compare two things, you can also use menos . . . que (less . . . than).   El disco compacto de Kelly es menos popular que el disco compacto de Beyonce.   The CD by Kelly is less popular than the CD by Beyonce.

Irregular Comparatives : 

Irregular Comparatives Bad sentence: Time Warner is more good than Embarq. Good sentence: Time Warner is better than Embarq. Time Warner es mejor que Embarq.

Irregular Compartives : 

Irregular Compartives Complete the following sentences. My mom is older than my dad. 1. Mi mamá es _______ _______ mi papá. 2. Sara is younger than Laura. Sara es _____ ________ Laura. 3.Taco Bell is worse than Mi Casita. Taco Bell es _______ ______ Mi Casita.

Superlatives : 

Superlatives A. To say that someone or something is the “most” or “least,” use:  definite article (el, la, los, las) + noun + más / menos + adjective    La foto de mi familia es la posesión más importante para mí.  The picture of my family is my most important possession.

B. To say that someone or something is the “best” or the “worst,” use:  definite article + mejor(es) / peor(es) + noun   Rojo y azul son los mejores colores para mi dormitorio. Red and blue are the best colors for my room. :
