Professor STASYS SALKAUSKIS has formulated the general principles of universality, positivism, humanism and inspiration. He has also defined such personality fostering principles as integral harmony and subordination and pointed out the characteristic qualities of a personality: a disposition to creative work, positive action and lofty ideals. He held that thematerial basis of a strong personality was good health and psychophysical strength. Such a personality was distinguished by love for the ideal, quickness of mind, high morals, determination to attain perfection and optimism.
