Q: How do I get my books? A: Traditional semester (CNSL, EDU, NURS, PSYCH Certificate but excludes SLD & Urban Studies) students can obtain textbooks from Eastern University’s Bookstore. The Student Accounts Office exists to facilitate the arrangements of paying for your education. The undergraduate and graduate traditional and non-traditional programs are handled through the same office. Our goal is to work with students to successfully complete their college education. We offer several payment plan options. Please consult the Financial Responsibility Agreement for more information. Eastern University – Eagle Learning Center (ELC) 1300 Eagle Road St. David’s, PA 19087 The Campolo College of Graduate & Professional Studies is headquartered on the St. Davids campus and utilizes nine classrooms in the Eastern University – Eagle Learning Center (ELC) 101-104, 108–112. The building is open 7:00 am – 11:00 pm, Monday – Friday. V.I.I. (Very Important Information) Restrooms are located on the first floor across from the elevator. Please Respect the No Smoking Policy of the Campus If you are locked out of the building or the classrooms are locked. There are four closets. Each group will be assigned a closet, mail bin and space. Student Services and the instructors will have the combination to this cabinet. Please check your mail. Equipment You Can Use In each classroom you will find wireless connectivity, a technology podium with a desktop computer, a VCR/DVD/CD player, a DVP mounted to the ceiling, and a wall-mounted whiteboard. For Your Convenience . . . There are snack & soda vending machines, a microwave, and a refrigerator located in the student lounge which is adjacent to the lobby. You also may store unopened food items, sealed soda bottles, and paper products in your group’s designated space in the closets. Student Services and the instructors will have the combination to these closets. Any opened food items and food items placed outside of the group’s designated space will be thrown away. Where Are We? 3300 Henry Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19129 The Campolo College of Graduate & Professional Studies has multiple classrooms at Falls Center. There are also science laboratories, auditoriums, a library, and a computer lab on the campus for use. Parking and Entrance Information Enter the main gates and proceed to the drive on the right to access the parking garage. Eastern is permitted to use the 3rd floor of the parking garage, free of charge. To access the office space, auditoriums, and lower level classrooms, please enter through the main entrance of Ann Preston Hall. To access the university classrooms, enter through the main Eastern University entrance. Faculty Information Please follow University policies provided by your academic department in order to change, cancel, or reschedule a class. Contact the CCGPS Scheduling & Facilities team with any other questions. Important Information Please respect the no smoking policy at this site. If you wish to smoke, please do so in designated locations outside of the building. Men’s and women’s restrooms are located in the center of the main classroom area. Please ensure that the room is left the way you found it. If the thermostat has been adjusted, please return it to its normal settings. Turn off all lights and close the door at the end of the evening. Equipment You Can Use Standard classrooms are equipped with whiteboards, lecterns or instructor desks, ceiling mounted DVPs, emergency phones, DVDs, VCRs, projection screens, and wall mounted control panels/boxes for equipment usage. Portable DVPs and TVs are also available through the reception desk. If you experience equipment problems, please inform reception staff. For Your Convenience . . . A student and faculty lounge is available in the main classroom areas. Vending machines, a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, cupboards and café tables are located here. Important Information GPS has administrative offices at this location to service you. The men’s restroom is located outside of the suite, down the hall. In Classrooms 1, 2, 3, & 4, there is a flipchart. In classrooms 1, 2, and 3 there is an AV Projector System – Projectors are mounted in ceiling, storage cabinet in Classrooms 1, 2 and 3 holds the DVD/VCR system. The three classrooms have an overhead projector and screen, and a mounted whiteboard. The AV Projector System allows one to view videos, DVDs and PowerPoint by using the overhead projector screen. There are two DVP’s left on rolling carts for emergency use only. The TV/VCR remains in Classroom 2 for emergency use only. This Campus is equipped with wireless internet. For Your Convenience… There is a kitchenette complete with coffee maker, small refrigerator and a microwave. These are at your disposal. Please be considerate of the facility by cleaning up after your class and leaving the rooms neat.
