Clinical Fellowship :

Clinical Fellowship Purpose: The clinical fellowship program adds to the preparation of oncology nursing leaders by acquiring specialized knowledge and skills, promoting evidence-based best practices and improving patient care

Clinical Fellowships (settings):

Clinical Fellowships (settings) Work with an APN in a clinic(pain/breast/ survivorship/palliative care) Work in chemotherapy outpatient clinic Work in public health to focus on health promotion and cancer screening Work in inpatient palliative care unit

Focus of Clinical Fellowship:

Focus of Clinical Fellowship Assessment and management of the following in collaboration with members of the interprofessional team: pain and symptoms associated with cancer and its therapy psychosocial complications of cancer spiritual, religious, cultural and existential aspects of care experiencing/promoting continuity of care through liaising with community agencies

APN Fellowship:

APN Fellowship 4 weeks or 150 hours – clinical fellowship Purpose: The clinical fellowship program adds to the preparation of clinical leaders in oncology nursing by acquiring advanced specialized knowledge and skills in direct practice, promoting evidence based best practices and improving patient care.

APN Fellowship:

APN Fellowship Complete an evaluation/research project – to enhance Purpose : to develop knowledge and skills in clinical application and its evaluation in order to facilitate confidence in designing and completing a project with measurable outcomes
