We provide parts and, where needed, expert help to refurbish the many non functioning wells. Through this effort, we have repaired more than 50 bore holes and counting.Slide8: This is a bore holeThis bore hole is broken: This bore hole is brokenSlide10: Since the bore hole is broken, thousands of people get their water from this river.The people are eager to help . . .: The people are eager to help . . . . . . and watch.: . . . and watch. A “cup” of water: A “cup” of waterSalt: Salt “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”Salt: Salt Malawi’s staple food is a corn mush called Nsima. Salt is a treasure because it stops birth defects from iodine deficiency. It also gives life to food that is otherwise virtually tasteless.We teach neighborliness when we distribute salt.: We teach neighborliness when we distribute salt.Bridges: Bridges Many Malawians must cross bridges to get to school, market, or clean water.
