Mr. Francesca’s father owned agricultural land, vineyards, urban properties, and a fine family home making it clear enough that Della Francesca would have attended school in San Sepolcro . We can assume something of its nature from the skills that Della displayed as an adult. He wrote his mathematics books in Italian rather than Latin, which means he probably didn’t learn Latin.
