What is Sensory Integration?: 

T he neurological process of organizing all the senses to work together efficiently. T he taking in and processing of information so that a person can focus and act appropriately in their environment. Take 30 seconds to write down all the senses you know before going on.. What is Sensory Integration?

The Senses: 

Most commonly known: Auditory sense(hearing)- Sound entering from our ears to the brain Gustatory sense (taste)- Flavor and tastes perceived through the tongue Olfactory sense (smell)- Smell or odor entered through the nose Visual sense (vision)- Information seen through the eyes Tactile sense (touch)- Enters through the skin The Senses

Activity : 

Take a few minutes to watch the sensory overload video in a dark room and at the same time try to get up and move by either twirling, jumping or dancing. Write about your experience in the blackboard discussion Activity
