Slide 33 :Eligibility BLISc with Degree in Biological Science or MLISc Duration The duration of the course will be one year; 6 month regular classes, 3 month project work, 3 month Internship. Examination 85% of attendance is required for theory and practical sessions separately. Examination after six month of the course, 4 theory and 2 Practical papers. Internal assessment consists of unit examination, assignment, seminar, presentation etc.

The medical institutes, with well-established library having Academic programs. National leading Medical Universities or medical institutes like AIIMS, SCTIMST, NIMHANS, JIPMER, PGI etc Diploma be the essential/required qualification for the post of the Medical Librarian, Medical Library Association of India (MLAI) should promote this course.
