Unique Fermented Nutrition:

Unique Fermented Nutrition Cultures – good bacteria and or yeast used to ferment food. Probiotics or Lactic Acid Bacteria (LABs) Fermentation – is the good bacteria and or yeast changing the carbohydrates and proteins and creating new nutrients such as organic acids, B vitamins, enzymes and more Organic Acids – aid in digestion (pre-digesting the food) B Vitamins – feel good vitamins Enzymes – necessary for ever reaction in the body, ENERGY! Cultured Food means same as Fermented Food Fermentation = More Nutrients

Unique Fermented Nutrition:

Unique Fermented Nutrition Why fermented food is more nutritious

Unique Fermented Nutrition:

Unique Fermented Nutrition Fermentation also protects against bad (illness causing, pathogenic) bacteria 1.) Lactic Acid Bacteria (probiotics) when fermenting produce lactic acid. This is why fermented foods smell sour. Bad bacteria does not like an acidic environment. 2.) Lactic Acid Bacteria (probiotics) create bacteriocins (natural antibiotics) that destroy bad bacteria. Bacteriocins are not included in probiotic pills or powders. So eating or drinking fermented foods can d estroy bad bacteria in the stomach! Even H Pylori! Fermentation = Natures Medicine

Food is the first medicine!:

Food is the first medicine! Probiotics have been found to influence the activity of hundreds of genes, helping them to express in a positive, disease-fighting manner – some of which affect the body in a manner resembling the effects of certain medicines. Probiotics (healthy bacteria) has over 30 beneficial pharmacological actions that we know of, including those listed below. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/10/24/tumors-exploit-gut-flora.aspx?e_cid=20121024_DNL_art_1 Anti-bacterial Anti-allergenic Anti-viral Immunomodulatory Anti-infective Antioxidant Antiproliferative Apoptopic (cellular self-destruction) Antidepressive Antifungal Cardioprotective Gastroprotective Radio- and chemo protective Upregulates glutathione and certain glycoproteins that help regulate immune responses, including interleukin-4, interleukin-10, and interleukin-12 Downregulates interleukin-6 (a cytokine involved in chronic inflammation and age-related diseases) Inhibits tumor necrosis factor (TNF) alpha inhibitor, NF-kappaB, epidermal growth factor receptor, and more

Raw Cultured Whey – fermented nutrition Protects the food from pathogenic (bad) bacteria all the way to the bowl. Raw cultured whey is the perfect source of probiotics for cats. Cultured food populates the gut 100 times better than probiotic pills or powders. Whey provides the extra protein and taurine cats need. Unique Ingredients Montmorillonite - a natural source of minerals that also helps remove toxins from the body. Carrot fiber – is fiber required for digestion. In the wild cats would ingest hair and other forms of fiber to aid in digestion. Sea Salt – all living beings require salt for proper health and digestion. Sea salt is not like table salt, it is not processed and retains its minerals, and it is a necessary nutrient for cats. Vitamin E- we use a natural source, palm oil (not from GMO soy), this is necessary as freezing diminishes vitaminE .

Sourcing is important because…You are what you eat!

Global Animal Partnership (GAP):

Global Animal Partnership (GAP) Step 1 No crates, no cages, no crowding Step 2 Enriched environment Step 3 Enhanced outdoor access Step 4 Pasture centered Step 5 Animal centered; all physical alterations prohibited Step 5+ Animal centered; entire life on same farm Like people, animals need a little "personal space" to be comfortable. It's the simple things that keep animals active and engaged — like a bale of straw for chickens to hide behind and climb on, a bowling ball for pigs to manipulate and shove around, or a few sturdy objects for cattle to rub against when they need a good scratch. Pigs and chickens still live in buildings but they all — yes, each and every one of them — have access to outdoor areas where they can catch a few rays. Chickens need to forage, pigs need to wallow and cattle need to roam. They can do all of these things when they live outdoors and have shelter — and of course, a view! Animals get to live their lives with all the parts they were born with, and nothing else! No nose rings, no clipping, no snipping and no branding. Animals are born and live their entire lives on one farm. Pigs and cattle are slaughtered on the farm, and chickens are transported only short distances (because you can't herd chickens!).
