For more than 35 years, he has been a major speaker, writer, as well as an amazing consultant to the people in the veterinary profession. Concerning his publications, he has published over 350 articles in a number of veterinary publications.

Talking about his educational background, Dr. Ronald Whitford began veterinary studies after being accepted at the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated at the top 10 position in the class and obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1972. In addition to this, he is a philanthropist, who has built three Habitats for Humanity Houses. He is also the sole supporter of Kitten Adoption Program, local youth sports teams, and low cost community service spay/neuter program.
