North American Prairies:

North American Prairies Prairies are considered part of the temperate grasslands, savannas, and shrub lands biome by ecologists, based on similar temperate climates, moderate rainfall, and grasses, herbs, and shrubs, rather than trees, as the dominant vegetation type. We are typically talking about the North American Prairie.

The Word from…..:

The Word from….. This word is originated from the word “Meadow” A Meadow is a field vegetated primarily by grass and other non-woody plants (grassland). The term is from Old English mædwe .In agriculture a meadow is grassland which is not grazed by domestic livestock but rather allowed to grow unchecked in order to make hay. Consisting of Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario, they form the largest group of freshwater lakes on Earth comprising 21% of the world's surface fresh water. [

Rocky Mountains:

Rocky Mountains The Rocky Mountains (or the Rockies ) are a major mountain range in western North America. The Rocky Mountains stretch more than 3,000 miles (4,830 km) from the northernmost part of British Columbia, in western Canada, to New Mexico, in the southwestern United States. Within the North American Cordillera, the Rockies are somewhat distinct from the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Cascade Range and Sierra Nevada which all lie further to the west.
