Cultural Story: Sword of Ignatius Loyola __________________________________ Centuries ago in Spain, Ignatius Loyola, a soldier-knight, was bed driven due to wounds from fighting in a war. During his recovery time his whole perspective on life and views changed from wanting to win fame from people to surrendering his sword to devote himself to Church and fulfill God’s mission through service.
