The Mission and Vision of Jesus Christ

Slide 3:

What is the difference between MISSION and VISION statements?

Slide 4:

What is the difference? Mission is a statement of purpose and a vision is a statement of where one is going. Mission equals the action; vision is the ultimate result of the action. Mission looks at today; vision looks forward. Mission is what we are all about; vision is what we want to become.

Slide 5:

A mission statement explains what we do, for whom and the benefit. A vision statement, describes how the future will look if we achieves our mission.

Slide 6:

What is the Mission of Jesus?

Slide 7:

Matt. 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Slide 9:

What is the Vision of Jesus?

Mat. 6:10 “ Dumating nawa ang kaharian mo. Masunod nawa ang kalooban mo, kung paano sa langit , gayundin naman sa lupa .”

Vision is both personal and corporate. Pastor’s personal vision Church’s Corporate vision Each member’s personal vision When all three intersect (the pastor’s vision, the church’s vision, and each member’s vision), there is no limit to what God can accomplish, incredible things happen and great things are done for God’s kingdom. However, when these visions are not aligned, chaos and conflict usually reign.
