The Priority Training Needs Analysis (TNA) Training Needs Analysis is the term we give to what we devote to the decision of what to train , when to train , and to whom. . . Priority Needs Analysis - term means an assessment of training needs that rank the skill in level of importance, instead of simply finding out peoples preferences for training. . .

Methodology:

Methodology A survey is to be created via survey monkey containing 10 key questions to determine priority training requirements. Notice will be forwarded to more than 200 Supervisors who serve in a capacity in various Units/Detachments in ‘E’ Division.

Survey Monkey:

Survey Monkey The survey is 10 questions long and should take between 15 and 25 minutes to complete. Please take the time to complete to identify the Divisions top training priorities. The cost of training is escalating, both in terms of training fees and time away from work. It is important that in today's fiscal environment that training expenditures “hit the mark". We will use the results to determine the kind of training we support, fund and deliver in 2012/13. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NFLY6QC

Good Leaders Understand Training:

Good Leaders Understand Training “Good leaders understand that they cannot train on everything; therefore, they focus on training the most important tasks. Leaders do not accept substandard performance in order to complete all the tasks on the training schedule. Training a few tasks to standard is preferable to training more tasks below the standard.” GEN Peter W. Chiarell
