MEDEA: 

MEDEA A story about the revenge of a woman who was betrayed by her husband.

Lamentation of the Nurse: 

Lamentation of the Nurse This play opens up with a nurse who talks about the series of trials and adventures, which forced Jason and Medea to seek exile in Corinth . Medea left her home and her father for Jason's sake and she borne him two children .

Jason abandons Medea: 

Jason abandons Medea Jason has abandoned his wife, Medea, along with their two children. He hopes to marry Glauce , the daughter of Creon, king of Corinth.

King Creon banishes Medea: 

King Creon banishes Medea King Creon banishes Medea and her children from the city because he is afraid that Medea’s jealousy will make plot for revenge. After pleading for mercy, King Creon granted her one day’s delay so Medea was allowed to stay an extra day.

MEDEA BEGS KING CREON.: 

King Creon allows her to stay an extra day. MEDEA BEGS KING CREON.

Jason confronts Medea: 

Jason confronts Medea Jason accuses Medea of overreacting . She voiced her grievances in public and this endangered her life and that of their children. He claims that his decision to remarry was in everyone's best interest. Medea refuses to accept his token offers of help and said “Marry the maid if thou wilt; perchance full soon thou mayst rue thy nuptials."

Aegeus TAKES IN MEDEA INTO HIS HOME When Aegeus , K ing of Athens , came to Corinth from Delphi, Medea told him about her situation. He offered Medea a place in his home city in exchange for her knowledge of certain drugs that can cure his sterility.

Medea plots Her revenge Medea turns to vengeance. She pretends to sympathize with Jason and apologizes to him. She says, “forgive what I said in anger.” She offers his wife “gifts,” a coronet and dress. The gifts were meant to convince Glauce to ask her father to allow the children to stay in Corinth . The coronet and dress were actually poisoned.

When King Creon saw her daughter ravaged by the poison, he decided embrace her and absorb the poison himself . So he died.
