Dual Enrollment & Early College Bevill State Community College traditional course offerings University of Alabama “Early College” program

Bevill State:

Bevill State 3.0 GPA Current junior or senior Accelerated High School Student Form Cost of BSCC course currently $372/3 credit hour course May depend on WHS course schedule Any freshman elective course or core course after core requirement from WHS is completed

BSCC Early College Enrollment Program:

BSCC Early College Enrollment Program Available for welding, machine tool, auto technology, drafting, collision repair, industrial maintenance, nursing Sumiton Campus (except nursing) Provide own transportation Each course earns .5 high school elective credits Grant available to cover cost of courses Must have passed all five parts of AHSGE prior to entrance into program Not appropriate for students participating in after school activities

UA Early College 3.0 GPA Completed fall term of 10 th grade Counselor Verification Form High school transcript Online application & $40 application fee Gateway Course (2 credit hours) taken with Parent in spring or summer $272 3 credit hour course $408 Amounts include Early College Scholarship of $160 per credit hour High speed Internet access

UA Early College:

UA Early College Online courses available 24/7 all year On campus courses in 5 week summer term available May earn from 2 to 30 hours of college credit before you enter college When you earn at least 18 hours of credit and maintain a 2.5 GPA through Early College, you are eligible for admission to the University of Alabama without submission of ACT score. You also qualify for priority housing selection.

Course Selection UAEC 200 Gateway Academic Potential 2 credit hour prerequisite to Early College Offered several times throughout semester 3 hours online or ½ day on campus introductory session taken with parent
