Can you identify some of Ancient Egypt’s natural barriers? The desert to the west was too big and harsh to cross To the north, the Mediterranean Sea kept enemies away To the east, Red Sea Cataracts made travel along the Nile difficult from the south
Flooding:
Flooding Nile- flooded twice a year, predictable Tigris and Euphrates-unpredictable often causing wide spread damage Nile/Tigris and Euphrates both provided rich silt needed for farming.
