1. Do unto others … Respect the property of other students Respect the property of your instructor You do this by: Staying focused on your assignment Do what your instructor tells you to do Refrain from loud talking that is disruptive Obeying and observing all class rules

3. Get along with others : 

3. Get along with others Kindly refrain from kicking or punching your neighbor Leave their computer alone – you could cause them to lose an assignment Do not roll around in your chairs – they are not skateboards

4. Swear not … : 

4. Swear not … Profanity will not be tolerated in the classroom No bullying or name calling will be permitted Ethnic jokes are not permitted

5. Be Punctual :

Be Punctual You should be in your assigned seat by the time the bell rings Pick up your notebook and text book on the way to your seat Begin work on the bell assignment If you come in after the second bell you will be counted tardy and the bell assignment has been missed If 20 minutes or more late to a class and you will be marked absent

6. Three Major Offenses No fighting in the classroom No verbal threats will be tolerated in the classroom Verbal abuse will not be tolerated in the classroom

7. Use of the Computer Lab is a Privilege not a Right : 

7. Use of the Computer Lab is a Privilege not a Right Do not change any computer settings Do not download any software to the computer – legal or illegal Do not erase any software from the computer Do not use the Internet for any non-school related activities except on the free lab day

8. Remain in Your Assigned Seat After the bell has rung, you should remain in your assigned seat at all times If you need to leave the classroom: Sign out Take the hall pass with you When you return, sign in Return the hall pass

Consequences : 

Consequences Everything we do has consequences. Remember that it is a spiritual law of God that what we sow, we shall reap. Sometimes the harvest comes fast, sometimes slow but be assured that you will receive the harvest of your actions. In this class there are consequences as well.

Consequences (cont.) Violation of a class rule will result in the following: 1st time: Warning (I will usually make eye contact with you to let you know that I see what you are doing and I will mark you on my tally sheet) 2nd time: Detention (25 minutes & written assignment) (On Tuesdays – 7:00 am) 3rd time: Detention (50 minutes & written assignment) (On Tuesdays before school – 7:00 am) 4th time: A telephone call will be made to parents (and/or send note home) 5th time: Referral to the office If a severe violation: Loss of computer privileges for one week and steps 4+5

Consequences (cont.) If you continue to violate class rules, you may receive Saturday school or expulsion. If violations continue after your return, you will be reassigned to a different class and will not be able to use the computer lab for any reason
