Premium member Presentation Transcript Water crisis : Water crisis By: Ashley RuizSlide2: The aquifer collects the water that we do not use and stores it for when we do need it.Slide3: Blue water bio is a company that takes dirty water and turns it in to clean water they do this by using a type of technology called hybrid bacillus activated sludge (HYBACS). This is a bacteria that cleans the water so they do not need to use chemicals. Slide4: Desalination is a machine that removes salt and other chemicals from water. Slide5: Membranes allow the passage of selected ions, producing freshwater.Slide6: Thermals will let the water boil and then let the water evaporate and condensed back into the water without impurities of the original liquid. Slide7: LCRA is an organization that helps clean the water in dirty lakes and rivers. Slide8: The NGO (non-governmental organizations) provides construction expertise, day to day supervision, community involvement and co-program management for the project.Slide9: The World Bank and other international development agencies have spent a lot of money on water supplies, purification systems, wastewater plants and dams. Slide10: The world water assessment program has a goal to improve the management of the world’s water sources.
