Essential Learning Targets for Mathematics

Pre-Kindergarten : 

Pre-Kindergarten Marking Period 1 I can identify numbers 0 through 5. I can count to five by ones. I can sort objects by one attribute.

Pre-Kindergarten : 

Pre-Kindergarten Marking Period 2 I can identify and describe patterns based on shape, size, color, sound, and number (AB patterns). I can identify and describe two-dimensional shapes (circle, rhombus, square, triangle, rectangle, and oval). I can sort objects by one attribute.

Pre-Kindergarten : 

Pre-Kindergarten Marking Period 3 I can identify numbers 0 through 10. I can count to 10 by ones. I can match a number of objects to numbers up to 10.

Pre-Kindergarten : 

Pre-Kindergarten Marking Period 4 I can identify numbers 0 through 15. I can count to 15 by ones. I can gather, organize, and display data on a bar graph and pictograph.

Pre-Kindergarten : 

Pre-Kindergarten Marking Period 5 I can create and extend patterns based on shape, size, color, sound, and number (AB Patterns). I can represent addition and subtraction with objects, fingers, mental images, and sounds. I can describe the positions of objects using terms such as above, below, beside, in front of, behind, and next to.

Pre-Kindergarten Marking Period 6 I can identify numbers 0 through 20. I can count to 20 by ones I can write numbers 0 through 10.
