New Management Tool :New Management Tool TAK Mechanical would like to introduce you to our new Office Management Tool which we will be utilizing for all our clients . We realize that the word “new” brings stress to many people, new baby, new house, new car, you get the idea. Even in offices the word new can bring on a panic attack, new job, new software, new boss (yuk!). Each and every day we do something new, we get up in the morning and face a New Day! New can also be fun and exciting, and that is why we want to get you comfortable with the workings of our Office Management Tool! The Design Management tool will allow TAK Mechanical and it’s clients to upload and download project related files. This will cut down time spent on the phone or emailing large files back and forth and allow TAK Designers to spend more time doing what they do best. Once a project has been completed and leaves our office for approval, a DWG file will be uploaded for the client to view and or download for their use. Each client will have access only to their own project files with a private login name and password. At no time can anyone who is not authorized access these files. At no time will files be available for clients to modify piping or sprinkler head locations. All pertinent contracts, invoices, material lists, specifications and water supply data will be readily available for the clients review. Another great feature that allows for clear communication between all parties involved in each project is the Message Tab. TAK clients and project Designers can leave messages for each other. All messages that are posted are stored until the project has been completed and archived. Miscommunication can be avoided and comments and questions can be answered directly and promptly. The To-Do Tab is a feature that allows all parties to set task lists or to do items that will be marked off as completed. This allows our clients to see the progress of their job and for all to remain focused on the tasks at hand. The Milestone Tab is just that, milestones reached on each project.
