ACT 33 : 

ACT 33 In November, 1995 ACT 33 was passed because of high juvenile crime rates. The purpose of this ACT is to allow offenders to give back to their community through restitution, community service and victim awareness.

The Main Purposes Of BARJ Is to change the juvenile justice system into a restorative model.

BARJ is helping to do this by :

How to get into the BARJ program at G.J.R. : 

How to get into the BARJ program at G.J.R. You must owe community service hours or restitution. Talk to your counselor parent or social worker about working in the BARJ program.

BARJ at George Junior : 

BARJ at George Junior Matt Louise runs this program Students who need to pay restitution or owe community service may participate BARJ participates in a variety of community service events, including buck wheat pancake fundraiser, soup kitchen fundraiser, the spaghetti dinner fundraiser, and landscaping

Buckwheat pancake : 

Buckwheat pancake My job was to cook and to serve sausage, and refill the apple salad.

Soup Kitchen : 

Soup Kitchen My role was to serve soup and clear tables

Spaghetti Dinner : 

Spaghetti Dinner My role was to assist the customers with their trays and clear trays.

Landscaping : 

Landscaping My job was to trim and cut grass on and off campus. Grove city park, butterfly park, and other homes in the grove city area.
