We also have EZ PAY , which automatically deducts the bill from your checking account on the due date. No more late payments or penalties.

Utility payments can be made either over the phone (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or at the cashier windows using (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash or check with a photo ID).

Meter Access Notice: As a condition of service, a utility customer must allow unhindered, unobstructed access to look at, repair or remove meters and service lines whenever necessary.

Monthly bills are generated approximately one week after meters are read.

Payment is due within 20 days of the bill date. After that period, a 5% late penalty will be assessed and appear on the next month’s bill.

Utility bills left unpaid more than ten days after the original due date will be subject to disconnection for non-payment.

All delinquent charges and reconnection fees must be paid before disconnected service will be restored.

Homes with odd numbered addresses can use irrigation systems to water lawns only on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

All lawn watering is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. For more information, call 352-728-9835.

The City of Leesburg encourages you to save energy and to save on your utility bill.

Set your thermostat at the highest comfortable setting. The recommended A/C setting is 78-82 degrees. There may be a savings of 6-8 % on your cooling cost for each degree above 78.

Remember to change your A/C filter once a Month.

The recommended heat setting is 68-72 degrees.

Minimize your hot water use, and set the water heater thermostat at 120 degrees.

Summertime means sweltering temperatures. As you adjust your thermostat, remember that increased power use results in higher utility bills.
