In my design and experiences, I keep to the instruction of the client, and incorporate many of the items and methods listed below: PowerPoint is a very powerful teaching tool. Your audience decides where to go and what to see. And if they don't like their experience , your message will be lost or is just a click away. That's why I strive to develop highly usable presentations that attract and keep customers. WHAT I DO ? 3 of 6 THE PRESENTION The slides should have many strong example of the effectiveness of combining text with visuals . Note that the images should perfectly supports the main message of the slide. The use of a headline at the top of the slide. Your slides should have short, powerful headlines that summarize the information on the slide . THE DESIGN To effectively get your message across everybody in your audience, you need to make sure your slides have both text and visuals . Visuals can include photographs, diagrams, charts, and illustrations. Another way most often overlooked is the use of page handouts and the availability of content via internet access.
