Early Life:

Early Life Sachin Pilot was born in Saharanpur UP of village Baidpura Distt. Ghaziabad now Gautam Budh Nagar(Noida) and Rama Pilot He went to Air Force Bal Bharati School in New Delhi and then completed his B. A. degree from St. Stephens College , Delhi University . While in college, Pilot was the captain of the college shooting team. He then studied at IMT Ghaziabad . He worked for 2 years for General Motors and then went to study at the Wharton School , University of Pennsylvania , U.S.A. .

Personal Life:

Personal Life Sachin Pilot married Sarah Abdullah (daughter of Farooq Abdullah , ex-Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir) in Delhi on 15 January 2004. Sachin Pilot is an Indian member of Parliament. He represents the Ajmer constituency of Rajasthan and is a member of the Indian National Congress . He is presently the Minister of State in the Ministry of Communications

Political Career:

Political Career Sachin Pilot on returning to India, he was inducted into the congress party on the 10 February 2002, on the birthday of his father Rajesh Pilot . A massive Gurjar & farmers rally was organized to mark this occasion. On 13 May 2004, Sachin Pilot was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha (Lower House) from the Dausa Parliamentary Constituency of Rajasthan, with a margin of over 1.2 lac votes. Recently On 16 May 2009, he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from the Ajmer Constituency. He had to shift his constituency due to delimitation . He defeated Bharatiya Janata Party 's Kiran Maheswari by a margin of over 76,000 votes. At 26 years he became the youngest Member of Parliament in the country.He is also a member of the consultative committee in the ministry of Civil Aviation.

ACHIEVEMENT AND AWARDS:

ACHIEVEMENT AND AWARDS Pilot has been selected as one of the Young Global Leaders 2008 by the World Economic Forum in recognition of his professional accomplishments and commitment to society Pilot has been fond of flying and got his private pilot's license (PPL) from NY, USA in 1995. He is also a keen sportsman and has represented Delhi State in a number of Nationals Shooting Championships. Pilot has been made a Minister of State in the Ministry of Communications and Technology, a portfolio once held by his late father Rajesh Pilot

SOCIAL JUSTICE :

SOCIAL JUSTICE He has been travelling extensively in India, especially in the remote and interior areas of the country to spread the message of communal harmony and social justice. He is focused on the empowerment of farming community and youth. He is also trying to inculcate a sense of social and political responsibility amongst the youth that live in the rural and the semi- urban areas of the country. He is well travelled and likes to keep abreast of current political and economic affairs, both within and outside India.
