Turtles were alive since dinosaurs. Slide 3: Turtles shells are made of colorless bone. A turtle's top shell is called carapace. A turtle's bottom shell is called plastron. Slide 4: Turtles feel with their feet and shell. Turtles feel pain through their shell. Turtles use their jaws to tear and crush their food. Slide 5: You can tell the difference between a male and female turtle by looking at their tails. Slide 6: Turtles are attracted by hotel lights. Slide 7: Male sea turtles never come on land. Slide 8: There are 8 kinds of sea turtles. Slide 9: Since sea turtles spend so much time in saltwater they have salt tears. Slide 10: Diffierent type of turtles have different size of eggs. Slide 11: Leatherback turtles are the biggest type of sea turtle. The largest Leatherback turtle was almost 10 foot. Leatherback sea turtles can survive the cold.
