Without doubt the most hated tactic in starcraft 2 is the Zerg rush. This starcraft 2 zerg strategy works just like it sounds. You build a force of zerglings and use them in an all out rush tactic hoping to catch your opponent off guard and poorly defended. Hey, if your pissing that many people off you must be on to something. Zerg Rush! : Zerg Rush! This strategy can win you the game but there are some finer points that you need to be aware of if you want to master this simple zerg strategy. Zerg Rush! : Zerg Rush! Because you are going for a quick attack with your zerglings you are making some sacrifices to your home base defenses and your economy. If you don't get the most out of your zerg rush you are left in a very vulnerable possition. You must have a fall back plan or you may wind up looking like a total dork. Zerg Rush! : Zerg Rush! Once your at the enemies door you need to hit and run. Probes, Drones and SCV's can inflict a lot of damage to Zerglings so control your attack, isolate and kill. Slide 6: Terran players usually block off their base and turn turtle. Break through the choke point, watch out for Marines and take them out. Remeber hit and run. Then cut off the money tree. Zerg Rush! : Zerg Rush! If a Protoss opponent gets a few Zealots out then you better take them out if you can’t then start rethinking things and fall back to plan B. If you can take out one or two Zealots then work on the Pylon that is powering the Gateway. Then destroy their supply line. Slide 8: When facing a Zerg player you will be battling Zerglings. Get the Speedling upgrade as soon as possible to get the advantage. Zerg Rush! : Zerg Rush! If all goes according to plan your enemy will be screaming at his monitor and crying into his hands. Be ready for a string of abuse and name calling. Players will try to set some kind of lame made up rule at the begining of a game. Some way to prevent rushing usually that they've decided on and that they feel safe with. I think this is the real BS. Rush on I say. Being prepared for a rush makes you a better player. To commit to a rush leaves you exposed so it's a two way street. The game is meant to played to win according to the abilities of the player and the attributes of the race picked.
