Premium member Presentation Transcript Christian Character : Christian Character Christian Character : Christian Character Points of 2Peter 1:3-12: We have receive all things pertaining life and godliness (1Peter 1:3) Thru Jesus we learn how to live and be godly God called us to glory and virtue We should partake of the divine nature (holiness) To participate of the divine nature (holiness) we need to escape from the corruption of the world (lust) Christian Character : Christian Character Points of 2Peter 1:3-12: We need to be diligent in developing these qualities If you had these qualities you will not be barren nor unfruitful Lack of these qualities produce blind and is an evidence of forgiveness of the redemption of Christ. These qualities make your election sure and never will let you fall!!! You will have open doors in heaven if you have these qualities Christian Character : Christian Character B. Christian Character Qualities Faith (trust, loyalty) : Acceptance of a system of beliefs believed to be true. : Belief in something despite the evidence against it. Belief in something even though there is an absence of evidence for it. : Belief in something because of past evidence for it; confident based in reliability. : Trust in the truth of something that cannot be rationally or empirically supported but which is presupposed by some for of empirical knowledge. Christian Character : Christian Character Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
