REACH :

REACH Risk taking – this is definitely taking a risk by not identifying students right off of the bat. Giving this model time to work, and then determining if a student qualifies for special education needs to be supported and tested by many individuals. It will also require support from parents, other teachers, and administration. Effectiveness - the effectiveness of this model will be determined by the amount of special education students there are. If the numbers go down, then the model was effective. You will also see an increase in grades, participation, and test scores. Honor - it will take a lot of time, patience and dedication from all ends to accomplish this model. Administration need to back their teachers and give them time to work collaboratively with each other to make this an effective model. It will also take a lot of dedication and patience to complete these tasks. Teachers need to be willing to give everyone extra time and attention to complete these tasks.
