Nanorobots (nanobots, nanoids, nanites or nanomites) would typically be devices ranging in size from 0.1-10 micrometers and constructed of nano scale or molecular components. INTRODUCTION : It was held in 1992 to inspire to develop a robot. The competition challenge change each year and registration and kit of part cost about US$6000 FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION Slide 4: It’s the part of ETH emerged in 1990 and led by prof. Dr.GERHARD SCHWEITZER For representing the activities, the ETH research group International Center for Magnetic Bearings(ICMB) was founded in 1990. In Feb 2001, It become an independent unit HISTORY Institute of Robotics : FIRST Vex challenge- a mid level robotic competiion announced by FIRST on March 22, 2005. For 2006-2007, the FIRST Tech challenge team competed in Hangin-a-round challenge FIRST TECH CHALLENGE APPLICATION : APPLICATION NANOROBOTS: The ability to design build and deplop made a large number of medical nanorobots. NANOROBOTS IN MEDICINE: This assemble machines or travel even inside the body to deliver drugs or do microsurgery This may detect and break apart kidney stones, clear plaque from blood vessels or ferry drugs to tumor cells THE WAY FOR NERVE CELL REGENERATION : THE WAY FOR NERVE CELL REGENERATION At the NSTI Nanotech 2007 conference, researches describe the use of nano robotics in medicine to enhance the regeneration of nerve cell CURING CANCER WITH NANO EXPLOSIVES : CURING CANCER WITH NANO EXPLOSIVES Curing cancer has long been a holy grail for medical research has been resolved by researches in the University of Missouri-Columbia and the U.S.army UTILITY FOG : UTILITY FOG Nonoscopic robots would change its shape and properties of a utility fog. NANOIDS : NANOIDS Nanoids are composite structures created through nanotechnology that imitate characteristics of biological organisations. A nanometer is just one billionth of a meter, a length into which one can only place approximately 10 atoms. RECENT USAGE : RECENT USAGE July 16th, 2004 Fox entertainment released its newest block buster film, I, Robot. The film, loosely based on Isaac Asimov’s collections of short stories of the same name, takes place in the year 2035. LIMITATION : LIMITATION Chemist object that an assembler would need 10 robotics “fingers” to carry out its operations and that there isn’t room for them all. This technology is till sscience fiction and an unfamiliar territory. CONCLUSION: : CONCLUSION: The old dreams of expanding the biosphere beyond our one vulnerable planet suddenly look feasible once more You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
