Some nights I think I could spend a little more time, while other nights I take longer to do my work/study the necessary. It relates to how much I learn because the time you put in to learning is the amount you get out of learning. Sleep Per Night: The sleep I get compared to the amount of sleep someone my age should get is usually on the lower side. I am always busy and by the time I get home and due homework, it is pretty late. I can manage my time better and not waste time doing unnecessary things in order to get a good nights rest. TV, Phone, & Computer Use Per Night: If I didn’t have a TV it wouldn’t affect me a whole lot because I don’t watch a lot of TV. I think instead of using the phone, watching TV, or using the computer, I would be out and about more or using some of the time to sleep. I think the time I spend doing these things is pretty acceptable because I only use the computer for hw. I text a lot and sometimes it gets in the way of things but I try and control when and how much I text. When you are not physically well, per se, you can gain mental/emotional instability by becoming stressed out. Or if you are emotionally overwhelmed, it can affect your social life and how you associate with others. Future Aspirations : Future Aspirations My cousin Alyssa has made a big impact on my life. She is not only my cousin, but my best friend. She is important to me because even though she is only a year older than me, she is a good role model and is always there for me. She brings out the best in me and always knows when something is wrong. She is someone that takes care of me and I turn right back around and help her too. Alyssa helps me make decisions and helps me grow in all aspects of my life. Future Aspirations : Future Aspirations Lyssa, Thank you for being such a huge role model in my life. I am so glad I have you to count on. You have made a big difference in my life and I really appreciate it. I love how you are always there for me. You are the one person I can talk to anything about and I know it goes both ways. You and me take care of each other and while we lost a loved one and it still feels unreal sometimes, we got so much closer. When Alexis passed away we were both there for each other and I know it’ll always be like that. Whenever we are together we always have a good time and you truly bring out the best in me. I love you and thank you for helping me grow into the person I am today. -Jessica Future Aspirations : I see myself in college. Attending school at Azusa Pacific, or in New York or Texas. I see myself coming home for holidays. I want to be working a part time job to bring in some extra money. Future Aspirations **My Life in 3 Years** Future Aspirations : Future Aspirations I want to be graduating college. I think I would want to move back to Cali or live in Texas. I see my family life the same; close with my family and spending holidays together. Dating and maybe in a steady relationship by now. And I want to have a steady job and be looking for work wherever I decide to live. **My Life in 5 Years** Future Aspirations : Future Aspirations By now, I see myself settled in for sure. I want to have a steady full time job. And possibly be starting a family of my own. I’m not sure where I want to live exactly or where I want to work, but down the road I’ll figure this out. **My Life in 10 Years** Future Aspirations : Future Aspirations If I could only achieve one thing in my life it would be to be happy and successful in something I love doing. While that can be very cliché, it is something that I want. I currently don’t know what I want to do in life or where I want to go; I just want to take it one step at a time and live life to its fullest. For instance, I look to the styles that are current, but always like to find ways to be different and unique. Keeping up with ‘the latest trends’ isn’t a necessity to me but I do make some of my clothing decisions based on what is ‘in’. I don’t see activities as something that is heavily influenced by the media. I do all sorts of things and its not limited by what the media has to say. As for music, I think the media definitely influences what I listen to. I mostly listen to mainstream music which is what the media promotes. However, I do enjoy listening to music that is underground as well. I think that the media impacts me more than I realize. Slide 35: BEAUTY ... How do you see you .. Don’t let it define you !
