How will we get there? Who will be involved in the process? How will we monitor our progress? With the guidance of our educators and community members, every student will have access to technology that will enhance their learning experience. Students will become technologically literate, while gaining the skills required to use technology with purpose, efficacy, and responsibility. With the teachers as facilitators, students will work independently and cooperatively with media and other technological devices that will individualize learning.Plan Goals & Objectives: Plan Goals & Objectives The goals in this plan will address the following five areas: Development and Research Curriculum and Learning Administration and Management Access to Communication and Information Maintenance and SupportDevelopment and Research: Development and Research Goal: Planning team will continue to develop tech use plan and conduct research to stay updated with latest technology Objectives: Development team will continuously review and assess the effectiveness of the Tech Use Plan Team will update plan to align with technology standards and keep up with latest 21st century skills Team will keep staff, parents, and students updated with the goals and objectives of the planCurriculum and Learning: Curriculum and Learning Goal 1: All educators will improve students' learning experiences by successfully integrating technology into curriculum instruction Objectives: Educators will be provided adequate professional development to aid in successfully implementing technology into the classroom Educators will research and implement technology that reaches the multiple learning styles of all students Educators will research and implement technology that reaches students with learning disabilities or ELL students All Educators will successfully implement technology into all subject areas of the curriculum to enhance the learning experienceCurriculum and Learning: Curriculum and Learning Goal 2: All students will use technology to experience a more successful learning experience Objectives: All students will learn and practice technology skills to prepare them for the 21st century workplace All students will use instructional technologies to improve their reading, writing, and communication skills All students will use instructional technologies to aid them in concept development, critical thinking, higher-order thinking, and problem solving. All students will be able to search age appropriate information on the Internet to support research and learning activities.Administration and Management: Administration and Management Goal: Technological tools will be implemented to simplify daily management tasks completed by the administration and staff.
