The White Roses three things about Islam’s video has been viewed almost 2 million times to date and continues to misinform. Under the false pretence of informing non-Moslem about Islam, its anonymous authors indulge instead, in unfounded and abusive criticism. They go against all honorable goals of building bridges between religions. Instead they undermine the reputation of one of the World’s main Religions, creating in the process animosity and confrontation. We suspect the authors, of that video-of-hate, of premeditation and malice. They go as far as using code names used in the 30’s to resist Naziism to convey subliminal messages of fear and innuendos aimed at associating Islam to Naziism, which is a biased attempt to discredit a Religion and incite people to fear it and hate it. Facts: Islam, together with Judaism and Christianity, are what is referred to as the people-of-the-Book; All three religions believe, by-in-large in the same Biblical Happenings and in the same God, although under different names --- and to a certain degree in the same Prophets. Nevertheless, each religion has its own variations, additions and interpretations. All these three Religions, as all others, deserve Respect. Please wait for next screen

The Sharia is the Islamic code of ethics that White Roses video-of-hate distorts, exaggerates and misinterprets its role and meaning. They omit to say that only a handful of Countries follow Sharia as part of their Laws and Regulations while all others, referred to a secular Islamic State don’t. Although the punishment in the Sharia is too harsh, it is rarely literally applied and always after a long and exhaustive multi-stage procedure. Presently in many Islamic Countries the condition of women and the limitations imposed on them are presently the subject of many controversial open debates. They are based on the argument often made in these Countries that it’s contrary to the teaching of true Islam and is man-made. The hope is that equal rights for women will soon prevail, like it ultimately happened in the West. Soon enough according to all anthropologists Islamic society is Matriarchal. We also find the arguments used in the White Roses Video-of-Hate biased, one-sided and omitting any historic positive arguments. For centuries Islamic Spain welcomed religious groups and minorities when they were forced to run away from fierce European persecutions. Many people tell us that their direct ancestors owed their survival to this life line. Once established, these minorities were allowed to fully integrate and prosper. This period is referred to as the Golden Age. Tolerance attracted the arts and the great minds of the world without any discrimination, welcoming them together with their families, beliefs, cultures, schools, churches and synagogues. We all know that 9-11 and other violent terrorist acts changed the World. As a result many people nowadays associate Islam to violence … but it is not because those responsible were militant Moslems, that all 1.8 billion moderate Moslems are all terrorists, in the same manner that it’s not because the Oklahoma City bombing was conducted by a far-right militant Christian that all moderate Christians worldwide are terrorists too. We believe that Moderate Moslems should be accepted and their Religion respected. Please wait for next screen

Today many non-Islamic communities still thrive in many Islamic Countries. Unfortunately their Safety is compromised and existence threatened by extreme provocation, the type expressed in that video. The real danger lies in this kind of behavior and invites equally abrasive and hateful counter reactions from the extremists on the opposite side. These kinds of debates aggravate and invite more confrontations and violence. There is no doubt that through restraint and mutual respect, all Religions could co-exist in harmony, and unite in a joint fight against extremism and terrorism which are the true common enemies of all.
