Designate a place where your child can work comfortably without distractions Designate a time that fits into your daily schedule, allowing for other commitments Establish a good environment and routine for Kumon home assignments: Think of Kumon assignments as a warm-up for school homework Make your Kumon home routine a clear and non-negotiable priority

Try to go over assignments as soon as your child completes them Grade and review assignments with your child present and attentive Grade with a pen, using examples in the Answer Book provided to guide you Don’t worry, assignments are always rechecked at the Kumon Center Check that your child’s name, the date, and starting/ending times are filled in on the top sheet
