Animal abuse doesn’t just occur in people’s homes. It is also to let people know the different reasons why people abuse animals. How is Animal Abuse Linked to Domestic Abuse? : How is Animal Abuse Linked to Domestic Abuse? Children who are abused tend to abuse animals Children who abuse animals are more likely to then commit other crimes (Casady) 63% of households that have abuse in them own a pet 71% of domestic violence victims said that their pet was abused as well 7% of animal cruelty cases involved a person with a history of domestic violence (The Humane Society of the United States) Why do People Abuse Animals? : Why do People Abuse Animals?
