Benefits of E-Learning Versus Traditional Classroom:

E-Learning provides education at a lower over-all cost than that of a traditional classroom. E-Learning eliminates the need for learners to be in an actual classroom, providing the flexibility for the learner to take a class or tutorial from virtually anywhere. E-Learning allows learners the flexibility to take a class or tutorial when it is convenient for them. E-Learning provides learners with a greater variety of experiences through the use of the multimedia tools that are available in an online program. E-Learning provides the advantage of learners ability to work at his or her own pace. Benefits of E-Learning Versus Traditional Classroom

Additional Benefits of E-Learning:

E-Learning is More Efficient E-Learning takes 25 – 60% less time to communicate the same information in a traditional classroom setting. E-Learning allows more employees to be trained in a shorter amount of time E-Learning start-up costs are expensive, but delivery and return on investment is substantially less expensive with greater returns. E-Learning is Faster to Market Deployment is rapid, getting the learning to employees quickly. E-Learning Accelerates Hiring and Training of New Employees The timeline for learning is shorter. E-Learning can be used as a tool for pre-hiring employees. E-Learning is a Better Approach to Employees Who are Smarter and Adapt Better E-Learning avoids the costs associated with teaching classes to employees who already know the content. Thank you for participating in this presentation. T he following are a few quotes regarding e-learning by some top organizational leaders. " Companies will never have a truly sustainable advantage that's based on products or prices. You need to focus on the rate at which people learn. It's the learning speed of the slowest many, not the learning speed of the brightest few, that will set the pace for your company." Jim Haudan " Online learning is not the next big thing, it is the now big thing." Donna J. Abernathy "Online learning will rapidly become one of the most cost-effective ways to educate the world's expanding workforce." Jack Messman , Pricewaterhouse Cooper "The current learning model is insufficient to accommodate the needs and realities of companies competing in the global, knowledge-based economy." SRI Consulting "We need to bring learning to people instead of people to learning." Elliott Masie, Masie Center Conclusion
