Limitations of the New Deal : 

Limitations of the New Deal The pay was only a minimum wage of 25 cents an hour Minorities were not aided as well as white men Some say it didn’t do enough Others say it helped the wrong people

Minorities and the New Deal NRA codes permitted lower wages for women Men and boys were hired over women for the relief and aid jobs Racial segregation in the federal relief programs of the south The men running the relief jobs were usually white; therefore racism was present African Americans were “the last hired, first fired”
