Disaster Response Grants:

Disaster Response Grants Disaster response grants support relief and recovery efforts in areas that have been affected by natural disaster. The Governor applies for the District.

How to apply for Rotary Disaster Response Grants_DRG?:

How to apply for Rotary Disaster Response Grants_DRG ? Who can apply for a disaster response grant? Once  qualified  for Rotary grants, districts in an affected area or country may apply for a maximum grant of $25,000 , based on the availability of funds. How to apply? The district governor and district Rotary Foundation chair complete the  Rotary Disaster Response Grant Application  and send it to  grants@rotary.org .

Programs of Scale Grants Programs of scale grants are Rotary Foundation grants that benefit a large number of people or a significant geographical area . Their reach can be international, national, regional, or district wide . Clubs and Districts may apply.

PolioPlus Grants Primarily applied for by National PolioPlus Committee chairs or Major partners agency, such as the W orld H ealth O rganization_ WHO or UNICEF . Support is available for eradication efforts in polio-endemic, recently endemic, and high-risk countries, including National Immunization Days, polio virus transmission monitoring, and other activities. Polioplus Partners Grants PolioPlus Partners grants support urgent social mobilization and surveillance projects, which are submitted by PolioPlus committee chairs in high-priority countries. Fill an application: Grant till 99000$ is on rolling basis Grant more of 100.000 $ is based on TRF trustee decision [meeting every 3 months]

Extend partnership with BMGF for +3 years The Gates Foundation will continue matching donations to Rotary’s PolioPlus program 2-1, up to $50 million every year.   Through the extension of the funding partnership forged more than a decade ago, the expanded agreement will translate into up to $450 million for additional polio eradication efforts. PLUS is…. When we talk about PolioPlus, we know we are eradicating Polio, but do we realize how many benefits the program brings ? It is Prevention The “ PLUS ” is something else that is provided as a part of the polio eradication campaign that is improving lives .

Sustainability:

For Rotary, sustainability means providing long-term solutions to community needs that the beneficiaries can maintain after grant funding ends. Sustainability 1- to identify a need and develop a solution. 2- Identify key community members who can pioneer lasting improvements. 3- People knowing how to take over the project . 4- Get at least 3 bids from vendors to make sure you receive the highest quality for the best price. 5- Get local funding through governments, hospitals, companies, organizations . Six steps 6- Develop clear and measurable project outcomes and determine how you will collect your data .

Qualification:

Qualification Qualify the district Read through the district qualification memorandum of understanding (MOU) in the  Grant Center , answer a series of questions , and agree to the MOU Conduct Grant Management Seminar_ GMS for clubs.
