Violence, non tolerance, unrest, civil wars, unemployment, refugees, poverty are increasing everywhere from Middle East to USA, and Europe to Australia! So what are our priorities? What are the Areas of Focus they respond directly to the current situation? what could be the Call to Action?

District 2452 Area of Focus-DAOF #2 Statement of Purpose and Goals D.2452 enables Rotarians to invest in people by creating sustainable, measurable and long term economic improvements in their communities and livelihoods by 1. Building the capacity of young entrepreneurs, community leaders, local organizations, and community networks to support economic development in impoverished communities; 2. Developing opportunities for productive work ; 3. Reducing poverty in underserved communities; 4. Supporting projects driven by local governance-municipalities related to economic and community development.

Call to Action:

Call to Action 1- Learn on the DAOFs #1 - #2, read Rotary publications and specialize webs [ILO-UN-IO]. 2- Inform yourself on the DAOF guidelines statements. [submit recommendations if any] 3- Brainstorm on the DAOF #1 and #2 : Community needs, PPP, Rotary sponsors 4- List small projects into your area in any of the 2 DAOFs, duration one year 2018-2019 5- Appoint a committee: project/s + training and sustainability , budget, follow up, reports.
