As Rotarians we should have: :

What makes Rotary so different ? – Sahel Aley RC – January 27, 2009 – By Michel P. Jazzar As Rotarians we should have: Mission: The mission of the organization/the team/the Club is crucial in determining your vision. Vision: The term "vision" suggests a mental picture of what the future organization will look like. Goals [goals, objectives] Strategy [ways/planning process, means/resources] While mission statements guide the organization in its day-to-day operations, visions provide a sense of direction in the long term -- they provide the means to the future.

Service Above Self :

"Service Above Self" :

What makes Rotary so different ? – Sahel Aley RC – January 27, 2009 – By Michel P. Jazzar "Service Above Self" Rotary is a service organization, not a "leads" group. The weekly meetings provide fellowship, guest speakers, and a place for members to share ideas. While Rotarians frequently do business with other Rotarians from a "network" basis, you will not see Rotarians passing out their business cards at a Rotary meeting or openly promoting their business.

What makes Rotary so different ? – Sahel Aley RC – January 27, 2009 – By Michel P. Jazzar Le Rotary est une philosophie:la philosophie du Service Ernst G. Breitholtz, president of Rotary International in 1971-72, once said, “Rotary is not an organization; Rotary is a philosophy.” Rotary is a philosophy of life that undertakes to reconcile the ever present conflict between the desire to profit for one’s self and the duty and consequent impulse to serve others. This philosophy is the philosophy of service — “Service Above Self.” MOP 2004 – Community Service

Le Rotary est une philosophie de vie :

What makes Rotary so different ?

What makes Rotary so different ?
