What must you do to enter the Kingdom of the Lord?

John the baptist said…, REPENT! For the Kingdom of God is at hand. (Matthew 3: 2) * He said this during his lifetime

Then Jesus said, that the Kingdom will come with POWER and before His listeners DIE. (Mark 9: 1)

Jesus said; - With POWER AND - Before his disciples and listeners died

Before Jesus was lifted up to heaven, He again told His disciples that they will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit came upon them.- Acts 1: 8 Remember He said before then that; “before they die, the Kingdom will come with power.”

ACTS 2: 1, 2, 4 “When the day of Penticost had come, they were all together in one place, And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they (disciples) were sitting. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.”

So that does tells you that the Kingdom of the Lord has already existed on earth and in heaven. Reading through Acts 2: 7, when men from all nations were watching amazed at what they saw, verse 14- 37, Peter preached about Jesus to them.

Jesus said to Peter in Matthew 16: 18, 19; “Peter upon this Rock I will build my Church and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.I will give you (Peter) the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven”

HOW CAN YOU ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM? Jesus answered that by telling Nicodemus that he can enter into the Kingdom if he is born of WATER and SPIRIT. – John 3: 5. What does water and spirit mean?

ACTS 2: 38- Repent each one of you be baptized (water) in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit So…., as for you to enter into the Kingdom is to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and receive the Lord’s gift for guidance to his Word and be added into His Kingdom (Church). –Acts 2: 47 BUT REMEMBER!

The lord said,…… He built His Church and it was under His name. – Matt 16: 18 *The Lord’s Kingdom (Church) is addressed under His name alone. – Romans 16:16 *No other name can be used to address His Kingdom unless someone else purchases it with his own blood. – Acts 4: 12 *In the Kingdom, what He spoke is law to be obeyed. – Hebrews 1: 1,2 *And whoever changes His law will be accursed. – Galatians 1: 8, 9

I hope you have understood about the Kingdom and have found the way to enter. While you are thinking right now about what you have found, Ananias told Saul in ACTS 22: 16…” Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the Lord’s name.” The choice is yours today to do the same and enter into the Lord’s Kingdom or be condemned. AMEN
