What is Drug Abuse.: 

Improper or excessive use. What is Addiction?: 

Addiction : Being abnormally tolerant to and dependent on something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming (especially alcohol or narcotic drugs) The APA diagnostic system uses the term substance dependence instead of "addiction”.
