INTRODUCTION : 

INTRODUCTION Mega mart, a pioneer in the apparel value-retail segment. Mega mart, started in 1994, is a venture by Arvind Mills Ltd. and z pioneer in the brand apparel segment in India. Today the largest value-retail chain in India. The chain is spread over 60 cities with around 160 stores across the country  This Big Mega Mart started 5 years before in Chennai.

LOCATION : 

LOCATION Big Mega Mart outlet is at Valasaravakkam sasvings mall, Arcot road, Alwar Thirunagar Jn, Chennai Retailers feel the 3 keys to success are “Location, Location, and location” It is situated in vadapalni to porur which are suburbs of Chennai As of 2001 India Census[1],Valasaravakkam had a population of 30,978.Many cine stars live here , it can also be called as place next to kodambaklkam

Competitor retail stores Big Bazzar in Vadapalani, which is 2.5 km from Big Mega Mart Sekar Emporium in Kodambakkam, which is nearly of 6 km from Big Mega Mart Valasaravalkam now has Reliance Fresh, Spencer's Daily, More dot department stores.
