Jacob the Jeweler Arabo Expands Epic Family with Colorful Details Building upon its iconic Epic Collection of fine timepieces, Jacob the Jeweler Arabo is proud to unveil its latest additions to the family-the Epic 1, V2 and Epic II, designed in a range of vibrant colors . These new introductions pay homage to the company’s creative spirit and passion for innovation, gem-setting techniques and fine craftsmanship. The Epic II, as well as the Epic I V2, which offers a silhouette with a slimmer more compact case, is set in a rainbow of colors with dial treatments developed for Jacob the Jeweler . This new offering provides the opportunity to express one’s personality while making a fashion statement with a luxury timepiece. The signature Jacob & Co. colored geometric sub-dials and hands are available in pink, yellow, orange, British green, red, violet, and navy blue. The unique combination of these two elements merges the finest in Swiss watch making with Jacob & Co.’s bold, iconic design. Each of the new seven bezel colors features invisibly set stones of citrines, pink sapphires, blue sapphires, garnets (orange), rubies, tanzanite (purple), and tsavorite (green) which are beautiful examples of Jacob & Co.’s world-renowned gem-setting techniques.

The Epic family houses the automatic 27-jewel Caliber with chronograph functions, date indicator and a 48-hour power reserve. Beating at 28, 800 vibrations per hour, it features the hours and minutes in the center, along with center seconds for the chronograph. The chronograph minute sub-dial is at 3 o’clock, and the 12-hour sub-dial is at 6 o’clock with the time keeping seconds hand located at 9 o’clock. The start and stop functions of the chronograph are operated off of a round pusher at 2 o’clock, while reset is operated via a pusher at 4 o’clock. The three-position crown offers time correction, date and re-assembly. All Epic Automatic Chronographs are equipped with a sapphire crystal and a rubber strap.
