My name is Olivia Lynn McElhinny. This show is going to be about my trip to North Carolina. Packing! : Packing! I can remember when we first packed. It was last year. I was in fourth grade, Mr.Hoffman’s class. On The Road! : It was about 6:30 by the time we left. I was so excited.I thought we would never leave. On The Road! When We Got There : When We Got There When we got there I was so excited. I almost cried. I said ”I’ll be the first one in.” My mom said, “Oh, no you won’t.” We Went TO The House : We Went TO The House I thought it was beautiful. It was a 5 bedroom house. My bedroom had 2 bunk sets, a Nintendo 64, and games to go with it. The Beach! : The Beach! When I stepped on the beach, I was so happy. I went boogie boarding. I got all wet. It was so cold. But it was fun. That Night! : That Night! I came home from the beach that night around 8:55. I was chasing crabs. I got my shower that night, then went to bed. The Next Day! : The Next Day! I woke up about 7:30 and had a cup of coffee. I put French creamer in it. It was the best stuff. Then I got my shower. Then my sister and I went boogie boarding. We had a load of fun. : Breakfast I ate a bowl of cereal that morning. It was French Toast Crunch. It was good. I ate 4 bowls of it. That’s how good it was. I drank about 5 cups of milk. That Afternoon : That Afternoon That Afternoon I spent the whole afternoon on the beach. It was so pleasant. I felt as if I was in my dream. (I dreamed the night before that I was riding Misty Of Chincoteague.) It was so exciting. That Evening : That Evening I was asleep when I heard something. I didn’t know what it was. I was so scared. I got out of bed and went to the window. I saw a school of dolphins. That’s all that scared me. The Day Before We Left : The Day Before We Left I was sad when I had to pack up. I wanted to stay there for the rest of my life. After I was done packing, I went to the beach. I boogied before I left. It was so fun to get wet. I was cooled off finally. The Day We Left : The Day We Left I was upset when we left. I didn’t talk to my parents or sister at all. I just stared out the window. I cried when we were out of North Carolina. I was so upset. When We Pulled Into The Driveway : When We Pulled Into The Driveway I was okay when we pulled up to the house. I was still mad though. I wanted to move there so bad. About The Author : About The Author Hey, my name is Olivia Lynn McElhinny. I’m in 5th grade and Mrs.Abernethy is my teacher. My hobbies are reading, and riding my bike.
