Cell Phones What they used to be, and what they are today

Introduction : 

Introduction Through the years, cell phones have changed the way people can interact with each other. Before, people had to carry around briefcase cell phones which were big and in the way. Also, people can now use their phones to access the internet and watch videos too.

Early models of cell phones (First Generation) : 

Early models of cell phones (First Generation) Cell phones were first introduced in 1979, in Tokyo, Japan The first handheld mobile phone was introduced to America in 1983

Early models of cell phones (First Generation) Continued : 

Early models of cell phones (First Generation) Continued All of the early phones were very large Started out being designed to be placed in cars They were later converted to the size of a briefcase

Early models of cell phones (Second Generation) : 

Early models of cell phones (Second Generation) In the early 1990’s a new type of cell phone was introduced These new cell phones were able to make SMS texting messages 2G models also included media content Advertising on mobile phones started

New Generation of Cell Phones : 

New Generation of Cell Phones 3G networks are now available to the public Cameras were introduced to phones People can now access the internet from their cell phones, at fast speeds People can access their email accounts from their phones People can also now stream video to their phones

Apple iPhone 3G : 

Apple iPhone 3G GPS, music player, internet, and phone all in one .

Pros of cell phones : 

Pros of cell phones People can keep in touch with each other easier Email/Internet/SMS texting all easily accessible Helps in emergency situations

Cons of cell phones : 

Cons of cell phones People are rude while on their phones Less interactive with other people Expensive sometimes
